Hope United Church of Christ will begin a new approach to our youth ministry beginning November 6.

With the help of dedicated adults, Amy Evans and Laura Ogreen, our middle school and high school students will meet on the first Sunday of each month at 9:00 a.m.

This time will focus on conversation on how the bible stories influence and inform decisions in young people’s lives and faith development.  Students will also participate in a variety of hands on activities at church during the morning, which may include: preparing, serving, and clean-up of communion elements, preparing and serving snack to the Sunday School students, service projects around our building and grounds.

Our middle school and high school students will also meet on the third Wednesday of each month from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m.  This time of gathering will allow for fellowship and fun, along with a time dedicated to hands-on community projects.

Here is an outline for the next four months:

9:00 a.m.                     Communion prep, serving, and clean-up later that afternoon – help with

beef dinner
