Annual Trunk or Treat Event Hoping for a Boo-tiful Night
With the moon in its new moon stage, the skies will be black and just right for the ghosts and goblin, princess and pirates, super heroes and silly clowns to be out and about for Hope UCC’s Annual Trunk or Treat Event scheduled for Friday, October 28, from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m.
Last year’s event had nearly 100 children, along with adults who accompanied them, coming to enjoy the treats from 13 decorated vehicles. Nearly 100 cups of hot chocolate, 14 dozen doughnut holes, 12 dozen cookies and bars, and two gallons of apple cider were shared by this outreach event with our members and community neighbors.
Beginning planning now on how to decorate your vehicle and come to join the fun. Our goal will be to have at least 15 vehicles in our lot for that night. Baked goods: cookies, bars or brownies, can be brought to the church by 3:00 p.m. on Friday, October 28.
