Move on Out and Head on Over, We’re Havin’ a Barbeque Round-Up!

Yes sirree, the Women’s Fellowship of Hope UCC is hosting a BBQ dinner on Monday, May 11 from 6-8 PM to round-up supplies for the Waypoint Center women’s shelter.

The Madge Phillips Women’s Shelter at Waypoint Services is our current mission project. We’ll cover the cost of all the catered fixins’ for your BBQ meal when you bring items from the list below with you that evening. To begin the evening and set the mood, local musicians Frank Zahorik and Ron DeWitt will be playing cowboy tunes for your listening pleasure.

We’re planning to make May Baskets (laundry size) with canned and dry food, paper products, cleaning supplies and toiletries for families living in poverty and for the women and children in temporary housing at the Waypoint Center.

So put on your cowboy hat and spurs, dust off your boots, fill your saddlebag with products from the list and come on over to our chuckwagon on May 11.
