Hope UCC Book Club Makes Next Reading Selection
After a great afternoon discussion of The Red Tent, those attending the recent meeting of the Hope UCC Book Club made the decision to read either The Giver of Stars by Jojo Moyes (author of the book, Me Before You) or Woman of Troublesome Creek by Kim Richardson. Both manuscripts are about women that delivered books during depression era in rural Kentucky. The books are available in the public library system or one be might able to get a copy at Half Price Books store, Cedar Rapids. The group will meet on Sunday, December 6 at 1:00 p.m. to discuss these selections. All are welcome to join this conversation.
