October Mission Focus – Funding Future Leadership

During this month, the Mission Committee invites the congregation to focus on the costs of seminary education, which a one of the steps toward ordained ministry in the United Church of Christ. Stop by our bulletin board, which will be featuring information about the six UCC seminaries as well as personal stories from some of our recent seminary graduates. Be sure to check-out the bulletin board and learn about “the cost of discipleship”.

On October 29, when the UCC celebrates Seminary Sunday, we will have a special offering for the Iowa Conference’s Funding Future Leadership effort.  Thank you in advance for your support of this important offering.
