In response to a recommendation from the Iowa Conference of the United Church of Christ, we are canceling worship services at Hope UCC for this Sunday, March 15th.  I have already received several comments from members who are in disagreement with this decision, however in consultation with medical professionals in our church community and the recommendation from the conference, the decision has been made.  We will communicate plans going forward for upcoming events and worship services as soon as we know them.  While we do not know what the immediate future holds for in person worship and meetings, the work of the church does still continue, both locally, regionally, and globally.  For those of you who offer your financial support electronically, thank you!  I would respectfully ask everyone to please try and continue to honor your pledges to the general and building fund as best you are able, either through  mail or by dropping them off at church.
Please contact myself or Pastor Mary Beth with your questions or concerns.  We will update the Facebook page, email chain, and website as often as needed for schedule changes and updates.  While we will also notify KCRG of our cancellation, if there is someone you feel needs to be notified in person of these changes, please contact them as you feel necessary.
